After reading the post carefully, and also reading from other sources that I’ll be referencing later, I hereby present the scholarship opportunities intended for residents of Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

For Chevening Scholarship

Applications for 2022/2023 Chevening Scholarships are now closed. If you’re considering applying when applications open later this year, read on for more information about the Chevening programme.

Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, They  offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.

There are many benefits to being selected, including fully funded tuition fees, access to some of the best quality education in the world, exclusive networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the UK’s diverse culture.

Required documents

All Chevening applicants must submit their education documents, references, and one unconditional UK university offer. The deadlines for these required documents are in the Chevening application timeline. Use the ‘update my application’ button above to upload them.

If you are conditionally selected for a Chevening Scholarship, it is essential that you submit these documents in order to remain in the process.

About University of Bristol Think Big postgraduate scholarships

Prospective international students can apply for funding towards the cost of tuition fees.

Awards valued at £5,000, £10,000 and £20,000 are available.

Awards must be used towards the cost of tuition fees.

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

  • have applied to start a one-year full-time master’s programme at the University of Bristol in September 2022
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
Qualifying programmes

Any one-year, full-time master’s programme.

Deadline

There are two applications rounds for this scholarship:

Round one deadline: 10 am (UK time) 28 March 2022.

Round two deadline: 10 am (UK time) 13 June 2022.

Assessment process

Successful applicants in round one will be contacted on or before 6 May 2022. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.

Further details

If you apply for this scholarship, you will also automatically be considered for any other University of Bristol international scholarships that you are eligible for. You do not need to submit two separate applications.

 Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship

Tuition fee scholarships of 50% or 100% for outstanding students who live in Africa, India and selected Commonwealth countries

Application deadline: Friday 20 May 2022

Our flagship Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship was founded in 2001. This scholarship programme is for international students who want to make a difference to the development of their home country.

We’re offering 105 scholarships covering 50% or 100% of full-time masters tuition fees. These are available for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, India or selected Commonwealth countries.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

As well as the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship, you can apply for one of our regional Postgraduate Excellence Awards. You can be considered for multiple international scholarships but you will only be awarded one.

Important

You are not eligible for this scholarship if you

  • are a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham
  • have already studied outside of your home country
  • are currently studying in the UK
  • You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship.
  • Applications close at midnight (UK time) on Friday 20 May 2022.
Application criteria

In your application, you will be asked about your achievements, study plans and reasons for choosing to study with us. You should also evidence how studying at the University of Nottingham will help you contribute to the development of your home country.

Make sure you have enough time to prepare strong answers. We will assess your responses and academic merit when making scholarship decisions.

Scholarship requirements

You do not need to respond to your offer before submitting your application for this scholarship, however awards will only be made to students who accept their offer to study with us.

We will assess all scholarship applications before making any awards. You may be offered a scholarship of either 50% or 100% of tuition fees. We will contact you in early July 2022 to confirm the outcome of your application.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.

About Reach Oxford Scholarships for undergraduate students

 

Criteria : This scheme is only suitable for candidates who have received an offer and who are of the highest academic ability. Financial need and social commitment are also major criteria for selection. Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence following their studies. Priority will be given to students who have not studied at undergraduate level before.

Duration: 3 or 4 years depending on course length
Value: Course fees, a grant for living costs and one return air fare per year 
Number:  Around 2-3 awards per year

Deadline: 9 February 2022

Result of outcome: April 2022.

About University of Sussex Scholarships; This school

Some of there scholarships are:

Article 26 Scholarship (2022): Apart from an offer letter from the school, you or your partner must have applied for refugee programme at the Uk Embassy. If that’s you , read more here  

Other eligibility factors include:

  • Have submitted, or are the dependent of someone who has submitted, an application to the UK Home Office for recognition as a Refugee; or
  • Have been granted temporary form of leave to remain in the UK as a result of an asylum application (e.g. limited leave to remain, humanitarian protection) and not be eligible for funding from Student Finance England; or
  • Be a partner/child of an asylum seeker or an unaccompanied asylum-seeking child; and
